Stone & concrete seals to preserve your surfaces

Concrete and stone as materials are diverse, the procurement of the respective surface varies greatly. Roof tiles or slate, for example, are smoother than sandstone or concrete. Nevertheless, stone materials usually have one important property in common: they are absorbent.

The applied coating penetrates up to 25mm deep into the stone, after which it is completely crosslinked on the surface as it cures. A very long-lasting and resilient seal is created and reliably protects the stone from dirt, weathering and moisture.

Like many other materials of natural origin, such as wood etc., stone also has to breathe in order to be able to regulate the humidity and to remain stable. Liquid glass seals are breathable and therefore do not lead to a build-up of moisture. Mold formation in concrete walls can be avoided in this way, and liquid glass sealing can also be used as part of flood protection. Walls and roofs remain as attractive for 10-20 years as they were when they were sealed. Dirt no longer adheres, rain no longer penetrates the stone. Moss formation and weathering are a thing of the past.

Coated surfaces are already effectively cleaned by a rain shower alone, because the popular lotus effect that is created during sealing usually only requires water for cleaning.

Car and paint sealants – beauty and value preserved with professional sealing

The paint – perfectly protected by liquid glass

In order for the car to shine like new for as long as possible, many people regularly treat their vehicle to comprehensive care. This is time-consuming and costly. With liquid glass, car care is made considerably easier and the time required is significantly reduced.

Washing systems, environmental influences, dirt, etc. ensure over time that the paint has the finest scratches and appears duller. Expensive cleaners offer a short-term solution here, but in the long run they also damage the paintwork. If the car no longer shines or shines, not only does the look suffer, it also loses value. Car paint, but also aluminum rims and stainless steel surfaces can be reliably protected with liquid glass – depending on the product – for 1 to 10 years. The treated surfaces are also protected against corrosion in the long term – not only the TÜV is happy here!

Windshield and windows stay clean

Like all glass surfaces, those of a car are very suitable for sealing with liquid glass. By simply spraying on and rubbing in, the discs are given an easy-to-clean surface with a lotus effect for approx. 12 months. Water simply rolls off, dirt does not adhere. In bad weather, visibility is therefore significantly better compared to unsealed windshields, since dirty windows are no longer – as usual – smeared by rain when wiping, but are cleaned immediately by the rain.

Another positive effect can be seen in winter. The ice scraping is made much easier by the liquid glass, as the ice crystals hardly find a hold on the coating. Likewise, the remains of flies on the windshield, known to everyone. No special agents are required for this, just water. In no time at all, the view is clear and the journey can begin.

The interior also benefits

Car seats made of leather or textile can also be protected from discoloration, stains and edges with special liquid glass seals. Do you have a hood? Thanks to liquid glass, stubborn dirt is a thing of the past!

Glass & ceramic seals – the plus for bathrooms and co.

blank

There are countless surfaces made of glass and ceramics in industry and households – mainly bathrooms are equipped with them. Tiles, sinks and showers are usually exposed to heavy use. Moisture, heat, limescale, mold – it is hard to imagine that you can protect them from it for years. If you seal them with liquid glass, this effect can be achieved with proper use.

Pre-cleaning, spraying on, hardening, and the protective impregnation is ready and protects the surfaces in professional quality from the above-mentioned influences, which quickly make them look dull, dirty and old.

blank

The same applies to glass surfaces such as fittings or windows. Rain, dust, children’s hands and lime make glass milky and permanently scratch the surface. Cleaning windows can be a laborious undertaking. If you apply a liquid glass sealant, water will roll off and dirt can be removed without streaks and with very little effort. Lime doesn’t stand a chance. The sealing products can be used inside and outside.

Liquid glass sealing for plastic and metal – an all-rounder

The plastic seal

blank

Plastics are an indispensable part of our world. Liquid glass seals can retain their new appearance and shelf life significantly longer. The possibilities are many: many unpainted household surfaces, such as window frames, doors or garden furniture, can be protected by our products.

Sealing plastics also has great advantages in the sanitary sector. Without a protective film, Plexiglas shower cubicles can quickly become very unsightly. The permanent contact with water quickly calcifies and becomes dull. Chemical cleaners first remove the limescale, but inevitably attack the surface of the plastic. Sealed shower cubicles can be cleaned very easily – usually only with the help of water and a cloth – lime, grease, etc. can hardly adhere and can be easily removed.

The metal seal

blank

Metals come in many different varieties. In addition to the countless possibilities for private users, such as in the area of cars or outdoor facilities such as gates and fences, the advantages of liquid glass sealing in industry are almost limitless:

Aviation, shipping, car preparation, gastronomy, production – these are just a few of the industries that work with large material surfaces made of metal, which are subject to wear and tear in the short or long term. With liquid glass sealing, this can be stopped on metals such as chrome, stainless steel or aluminum, which has a positive effect on the service life and cleanliness.

Due to the resulting lotus effect, water just rolls off, leaves no annoying stains, dirt no longer adheres and is washed away by pure water without additives. The impregnated surfaces can be used longer.

The cost-benefit effect in the industrial sector is considerable, from which the end user will certainly benefit in the long term.

Wood sealing – Preserving the natural beauty of wood with liquid glass

Wood is a natural product that has its own beauty. Every tree grows differently and has different properties that are visible in the wood. However, if it is permanently exposed to moisture, cold, heat and dirt, the enjoyment of it and its durability decrease. Wood “works” and reacts to external influences. It gets rotten, tears, warps. Plywood quickly becomes unusable after contact with water and cannot be processed further because it floats up.

blank

Wood can simply be sprayed with liquid glass sealing. After the impregnation has hardened appropriately, protection of the wood is guaranteed for 5-10 years. External influences are repelled by the coating, whereby the natural beauty is preserved. The prerequisite for use is that the wood has not yet been painted or minerally impregnated, otherwise the sealant cannot adhere.

The sealing is breathable and allows the wood to continue to breathe and “work”. Changes in color due to weathering and the absorption of salts are avoided. The coating maintains the original color of the wood at the time of application.

There are many possible uses in the wood sector: window and door frames, antique woods, playground equipment in the garden, wooden terrace tiles, plywood panels, etc.

Textiles can also be sealed with liquid glass? Sure, of course!

blank

Textile sealing is certainly one of the most interesting variants of liquid glass application. Fabrics that are rarely or never washed are best for this. These include, for example, upholstery, mattresses, work clothes, suits and ties, uniforms, curtains, tablecloths, backpacks, untreated nappa and suede and much more.

Dirt no longer penetrates the fabrics thanks to the treatment, which is simply carried out by spraying or dipping, and there are no longer any stains that are difficult or impossible to wash out. The textiles remain flexible due to the extremely low thickness of the coating. The impregnation with liquid glass is breathable and has no influence on the temperature development when wearing coated clothing. The functionality of the fabrics remains unrestricted, which also plays an important role in mattresses, for example. The impregnation prevents sensitive leather from becoming stiff and porous, and avoids a greasy appearance.

blank

Textiles can be protected in this way for up to 5 years, which saves going to cleaning and using chemical products. The lotus effect repels liquids that normally stain. Thus, wiping with a wet cloth is often sufficient to keep the fabric clean.

Industrially used materials such as work clothes, uniforms or hotel and catering equipment can be used significantly longer by impregnating them with liquid glass, which saves costs and environmental pollution.

Universal sealing – the quick solution for all-round protection

blank

There is a great demand for “simple solutions”, i.e. universal seals with which you can seal different substrates without having to use a special seal every time. We call such solutions “95% solutions”:

they also achieve high-quality and effective results, but minor restrictions compared to the 100% special sealants must be observed – this is primarily the duration of the shelf life, for example.

There are two types of universal sealing: for non-absorbent / hard surfaces (glass / ceramic, plastic, metal, stainless steel and painted surfaces) and for absorbent / soft surfaces (stone, wood, textile).
