Avant d&#8217;appliquer un scellant, la peinture doit \u00eatre <b>soigneusement<\/b> nettoy\u00e9e et polie. La salet\u00e9, la poussi\u00e8re et d&#8217;autres contaminants peuvent affecter le r\u00e9sultat et r\u00e9duire la durabilit\u00e9 du scellant. Il est important d&#8217;appliquer le scellant de mani\u00e8re uniforme et en une couche fine afin de s&#8217;assurer que toutes les zones sont couvertes. Une couche trop \u00e9paisse <b>peut<\/b> provoquer des bulles et des irr\u00e9gularit\u00e9s. De plus, cela entra\u00eene souvent un<b> temps de s\u00e9chage plus long et peut nuire \u00e0 l&#8217;efficacit\u00e9 de la protection<\/b>.   <\/p>\n<h2>Ne pas r\u00e9parer les rayures et les dommages<\/h2>\n<p>Avant d&#8217;appliquer un scellement c\u00e9ramique, il convient de r\u00e9parer <b>toutes les \u00e9raflures et tous les dommages<\/b> sur la peinture. Les petites rayures et les dommages sont plus difficiles \u00e0 r\u00e9parer apr\u00e8s la vitrification et peuvent affecter l&#8217;apparence et la fonctionnalit\u00e9 de la couche de protection. Utilisez <b>des produits de nettoyage<\/b> <b>sp\u00e9cifiques<\/b> adapt\u00e9s aux surfaces vitrifi\u00e9es et <b>\u00e9vitez<\/b> d&#8217;utiliser des <b>produits chimiques durs et des mat\u00e9riaux abrasifs<\/b> qui pourraient user ou endommager la couche protectrice. <\/p>\n<h2>Temps de s\u00e9chage trop court<\/h2>\n<p>L&#8217;une des erreurs les plus fr\u00e9quentes lors de l&#8217;application d&#8217;un scellant est de ne pas laisser suffisamment de temps \u00e0 la couche pour durcir. Le temps de durcissement varie selon le produit, mais en r\u00e8gle g\u00e9n\u00e9rale, le scellant doit s\u00e9cher pendant au moins 24 heures. Un temps de s\u00e9chage insuffisant peut r\u00e9duire l&#8217;efficacit\u00e9 de la protection et entra\u00eener une <b>usure<\/b> <b>ou une d\u00e9t\u00e9rioration<\/b> <b>plus rapide<\/b> du scellant.
