Permanent Protect 646 Ultra Thin is a high-quality ceramic sealant for the permanent coating of smooth surfaces such as metal, glass, plastic or painted materials. The ultra-thin, transparent protective layer provides exceptional resistance to dirt, chemicals, UV radiation and mechanical influences. Thanks to its hydrophobic and oleophobic properties, the sealant offers a long-lasting easy-to-clean effect.
Ideal for automotive and marine applications, as an anti-graffiti coating or for finishing high-quality painted surfaces – Permanent Protect 646 Ultra Thin sets new standards in terms of surface protection and durability.

Areas of application
- Vehicle surface coating (e.g. car bodies, rims)
- Easy-to-clean coatings for indoor and outdoor areas
- Durable protective coatings in the marine sector
- Refinement of yacht and boat paints
- After-treatments for automobiles (ceramic sealing)n
- Anti-graffiti coatings on non-porous surfaces
Application
General
- Thoroughly clean and degrease the surface (e.g. with isopropanol, ethyl acetate or white spirit).
- The surface must be completely dry and free of grease.
- Processing temperature: 15-30 °C, relative humidity: 50-80 %.
- Avoid direct sunlight.
Application by swiping
- Apply a few drops (5-10/ml m²) to a microfiber cloth.
- Apply evenly with light pressure in linear movements.
- Polish with a soft cloth after max. 30 minutes.
- Repeat the process if necessary.
Application by spraying
- Nozzle size: 0.8-1.0 mm / pressure: 0.6-1.0 bar / distance: approx. 20 cm
- Layer thickness (dry): 2.5-25 μm (depending on passages)
- Alternative: Rotary bell jar (30,000 rpm, 2 bar, 0.2-0.4 m/s, 50-150 ml/min)
Cleaning & care
The use of a mild cleaner, such as our V24 Biosativa® cleaner, is sufficient for cleaning the surface. Aggressive cleaning agents are not required or recommended.
