The sealant penetrates deep into the structure of the wood, but leaves the natural appearance of the surfaces unchanged. It provides a very long-lasting coating that protects the wood from water penetration, salts, mold, algae and weathering. The coating also reduces discoloration due to weathering. It can also be used indoors, for example on floors.
However, always test the sealant/impregnation on an inconspicuous area first, as it can behave differently depending on the material.
